Bookings & Cancellations

 

HOW DO I BOOK A PARTY?

Please contact us via our party contact page or call Michelle on 0432 878 362 stating the party date, time, the event details and your preferred package.

 

HOW DO I SECURE MY BOOKING?

You will receive an invoice with payment details and terms. A $100 deposit payment is due within 2 days of your booking confirmation with the remaining balance due 7 days prior to your party. The invoice must be paid in full prior to your party date in order to guarantee our arrival at your event. We take payments via EFT, Visa and MasterCard credit/debit cards, and PayPal.

Please note that we can also accept zipPay and AfterPay, and are happy to discuss these options with you.

 

WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?

Please note that for all bookings, $100 (per performer) is non-refundable in the event of any cancellation. ​

If you provide over 10 days notice and would like to re-book within 3 months of the date of your party, then we can happily do so subject to availability at no extra charge.

If you cancel a booking with less than 24 hours notice then 75% of your balance will still be charged. This is due to us specifically holding that booking for you and having organised everything to ensure our prompt attendance to your party.

We do understand that things do happen last minute (illness etc), which is why you do have the option of re-booking within 3 months of the date of your party. If you are unable to do this, unfortunately we are unable to refund 75% of your booking. Stock and preparations do take time and of course money. It does make it very difficult for us to obtain another booking at short notice due to cancellations. Thank you for your understanding on this.

 

DO YOU TAKE LAST MINUTE BOOKINGS?

As pointed out in the previous question, we do from time to time have last minute cancellations. Please give us a call and we will certainly see what is available for you

WHAT SORT OF CONTACT WILL I HAVE FROM MY HOST?

Your party host will call you on the Monday before your party. This is so they can introduce themselves, confirm your event and the number of children attending. This is also your opportunity to ask any questions you may have. Your host will also go through the timeline of your party so that you can discuss things like when the food should be served and of course the all important cake!

 

WHAT IS THE BEST SPACE FOR MY EVENT?

We can hold you party either indoors or outdoors.

If it is held indoors, we do recommend having a door or window open nearby. As you can appreciate, not all kids choose the same fragrance which makes it a pretty strong smelling environment!

If you prefer to have the party held outside, just remember that the sun can delay the curing time of wax, so a sheltered area is better.

 

WHAT DO I NEED TO PROVIDE ON THE DAY?

On the day, we will require a table (or two, depending on the number of guests) big enough to fit the guests around. This can be the same table you will be serving the food on as we will ensure it is packed up prior to the food being served. Chairs are optional but we have found that kids prefer to stand whilst making their candles.

We will also require access to a microwave oven to melt the wax. All the wax is pre measured and ready to be melted so no mess from measuring.

The only other thing you need are your awesome guests!

 

Travel

We travel within Melbourne. There may be a small travel fee ($20) for some locations. Please contact us if you are unsure, however we will disclose any travel fees upon your initial enquiry.

 

Are the activities safe?

We use Soy Wax, which is natural, kosher and non toxic. It has a low melt point which makes it safer to use than other wax's. We give a thorough safety talk prior to commencing the activities. Our fragrances are all skin safe. The beautiful thing about soy wax, is that if you spill it, it is easily wiped up.

We also provide all guests with an apron to protect their clothing.
